Delete your Sovi account

You can delete your Sovi account yourself, in the app or on the web. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the Sovi mobile app (iOS and Android)

1. Open Sovi and sign in.
2. Go to More, then Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
4. Confirm with Delete forever.

On the web

1. Sign in at sovi.studio.
2. Open Settings, then Profile.
3. Select Delete Account and confirm.

Cannot sign in, or prefer to ask us?

Email info@sovi.studio with the subject "Account deletion request", sent from the email address registered to your Sovi account so we can match the request to your account.

When you delete your account, we erase your personal data, including:

• •Your account and profile (name, email address and sign-in details).
• •Everything you created in Sovi: notes, goals, habits, tasks, journal entries, decisions, people, meetings and chat history.
• •Optional data you connected: wearable health data, and bank and transaction data brought in through Plaid.
• •Stored connection credentials and API keys for the services you linked.
• •Your sign-in sessions on every device, which end when the deletion runs.

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, that store manages the subscription: cancel it in your store account.

• •Billing and subscription records are kept without the link to your account (your account ID is replaced); amounts and dates remain, because tax and accounting obligations require a transaction record. Our payment processor also keeps its own records under its own policy.
• •Security and audit logs are kept with your account identifiers (user ID, name and email) removed.

Our Privacy Policy states that if you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes, for example billing records for up to 7 years.

For details on a specific record or on backups, contact info@sovi.studio. If the app reports that a deletion failed, try again or contact us at the same address.
